History of Haven Green Court

Haven Green Court is a residential block of 80 flats in Ealing, London, UK. It is located on Haven Green, a public park that has been in existence since at least the 13th century. The building itself was constructed in the late 1930s on the site of a large Victorian house called The Haven. It is in an Art Deco style. It falls within one of Ealing’s conservation areas. 

The history of Haven Green can be traced back to the 1800s, when the area was still largely rural. The park was originally known as The Haven and was used for grazing livestock and for recreation. In 1838, the first local railway station, Ealing Haven, was built. In 1878, the Ealing Local Board purchased the park in order to preserve it as public open space. The park was landscaped in the Victorian style and was planted with trees and shrubs. A bandstand was also added, and the park became a popular spot for concerts and other events.
